‍Rebocos de argila, esgrafito, estanhado de cal, madeira de eucalipto e faia, mosaico hidráulico

Este apartamento no último andar, situado num complexo habitacional de 1981 com estrutura de betão e tijolo furado, não oferecia níveis de conforto contemporâneos. Um dos objetivos da renovação foi melhorar a eficiência energética, elevando de E para B a sua classificação. Isto foi conseguido através do isolamento do teto e das paredes exteriores e da introdução de um sistema de aquecimento central.

A intervenção permitiu também a reintrodução de materiais tradicionais, como estuques de cal estanhados e acabamentos em argila, aplicados em várias zonas do apartamento. Estes materiais não só valorizam a estética do espaço, como também melhoram as suas propriedades higrotérmicas. Os rebocos de argila foram desenvolvidos e aplicados pela nossa equipa, devido à escassez de mão-de-obra qualificada.

A abordagem ao projeto procurou minimizar alterações à disposição existente. Manteve-se a cozinha e a casa de banho nos seus locais originais e uniram-se dois quartos mais pequenos para criar uma única área de estar aberta, com vistas amplas sobre Lisboa a partir da varanda. A varanda, anteriormente encerrada por uma marquise ilegal, foi devolvida ao seu estado original, restaurando a fachada do edifício.

Para os pavimentos das zonas húmidas, optou-se por mosaicos hidráulicos, pela sua durabilidade e bom envelhecimento. Colaborou-se com a fábrica de mosaicos local criando o design. Nos restantes espaços, utilizou-se desperdícios de madeira de eucalipto, uma solução sustentável que maximiza o aproveitamento do material. O acabamento em madeira dura é acolhedor e pode ser polido várias vezes, mantendo a sua beleza original ao longo dos anos.
